OBJECTIVE
Create a cohesive and engaging editorial design for CyberEd Magazine that transforms complex cybersecurity topics into a polished, accessible publication. The goal was to establish a consistent visual experience across every issue through thoughtful layouts, strong typography, intentional image selection, and clear content hierarchy, while allowing each feature story to feel distinct and visually compelling.
The Approach
Each issue was approached as a complete editorial experience, balancing strong visual storytelling with clear, structured content. I managed the full layout from cover creation, developing page compositions that created consistent visual rhythm while giving each article its own look. Consistent typography, hierarchy, spacing and pacing helped transform dense cybersecurity topics into content that felt polished, approachable, and easy to navigate.
Image selection was also a key part of the process. I curated photography from our own in person events for covers, feature stories, and supporting editorial content, choosing imagery that complemented each topic while maintaining a cohesive look across the publication. The result was a flexible editorial system that could accommodate interviews, long form articles, pull quotes, and event photography while keeping every issue visually consistent with the CyberEd brand.
